Rainy Lake Community Housing Cooperative is the group’s community-focused cooperative housing brand, intended to create sustainable housing with long-term affordability and meaningful resident participation.
The cooperative model previously developed for the group separates land ownership from resident tenure: Rainy Lake Developments can retain and lease the land to the cooperative, while the cooperative owns and manages the housing and members hold shares or memberships that provide resident tenure.
