Tim Mitchell is the founder and President & CEO of Rainy Lake Developments, providing strategic direction across the Rainy Lake group of companies. His background combines more than two decades of construction experience with formal education in business, public policy, governance, international trade and geography. Through Rainy Lake Developments, he oversees the group’s activities in real estate development, construction, building products and community-focused housing. He also leads Mitchell Construction, the group’s construction arm, and has been directly involved in residential and commercial construction since the late 1990s. His focus is on building an integrated Northern Ontario development platform capable of moving projects from concept and land development through construction, supply and long-term community value.

Steve Mitchell is a lifelong residential builder with more than 20 years of industry experience. He began working hands-on in construction at age 12 and by 21 was leading a framing crew at Silver Carpentry, coordinating residential work on Brookfield Residential and Countrywide Homes developments in Caledon East, Ontario. His experience includes framing, crew coordination, quality control and complete home-build oversight. Steve brings practical field leadership and construction expertise to the group, with a focus on craftsmanship, efficiency, accountability and durable building quality.
